Video Blogging Contest on the theme “Weaving Traditions: Textile Relations”
being organized jointly by ICCR and the Uttar Pradesh Institute of Design (UPID) from 15th September 2020 to 2nd October 2020
As part of celebrations of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Indian Council of Cultural Relations (ICCR) and Uttar Pradesh Institute of Design (UPID) are jointly organizing a Video Blogging Contest on theme “Weaving Relations : Textile Traditions” from 15th September 2020 till 2nd October 2020. The video content is open to all foreign participants residing outside India. The closing date for submission of entries is 2nd October 2020.
A three minute video (running video or photos or a collage of unique weaving textile traditions of the country) can be recorded. The depiction should be narrated preferably in English language (to be accompanied with English subtitles if uploaded in local language).
The prizes for this Video Blogging Contest are 1st Prize – US $ 500, 2nd Prize – US $ 300 and 3rd Prize – US $ 200.
