Scholarship for studying in India for the academic session 2023-24 under the scheme of Propagation of Hindi abroad at Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra, India
The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India is offering scholarships to Sri Lankan nationals to study Hindi Language at Kendriya Hindi Sansthan (Central Institute of Hindi), Agra for the Academic Year 2023-24.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The minimum age for admission is 21 years and maximum age limit is 35 years as on 01.04.2023.
Applicant must have studied Hindi as a subject at G.C.E. Advanced level (A/L) or have done beginner or intermediate courses in Hindi or any Hindi course conducted by Universities of Sri Lanka.
The selected candidates will be provided return airfare (economy class), stipend, hostel accommodation at nominal charges and an annual book grant.
The application forms can be downloaded from the website http://ahcikandy.gov.in or can be collected from: Assistant High Commission of India, 01A, Mahamaya Mawatha, Kandy on weekdays between 09:30 AM and 01:00 PM from 06 February to 20 February, 2023. Please note that the applicants are required to bring duly filled-in application forms (03 sets- one original & two duplicates), along with necessary documents and certificates in original and present themselves for an interview in person on 01 March 2023 between 10:00 AM and 01:00 PM at Assistant High Commission of India, 01A, Mahamaya Mawatha, Kandy.
